Karlsruhe

Karlsruhe

Tradition and dynamism are hallmarks of our firm’s head office. For more than seventy years now, we have been forging our way in tandem with Karlsruhe itself. Since day one, we have maintained our status as an address of choice for legal counsel in southwest Germany. Today, Karlsruhe is not only one of the most important economic centers in Baden-Wuerttemberg, it has also made a name for itself as a young and innovative technology hub. In the home city of Germany’s highest federal court, we advise on matters that run the commercial gamut with highly specialized attorneys and teams. Our largest practice groups include the Banking and Capital Markets, the Real Estate and Construction, the Corporate, the Public Law, the Service Sector, and the Intellectual Property/Information Technology practice groups. This is all augmented by industry-specific concentrations such as financial services, procurement, and health care law.

It is our understanding that, on the operational side, matters at entrepreneurial crossroads require interdisciplinary approaches and legal counsel. In keeping with this understanding, we offer not only traditional legal advice, but tax advice and auditing services as well under one and the same roof. CL Compliance und Datenschutz, our cooperation partner, will develop custom concepts and processes and will take on any relevant roles as your outside agent.

Basel

Basel

The legal practice has existed since 1955. Lenz Caemmerer in Basel arose from the 1998 merger of two law firms of equal pedigree in the German and Swiss economic space. Caemmerer, the firm in Karlsruhe at that time, was connected to what is today the Basel office by a common vision and virtually symmetrical traditions. Even the range of the comprehensive counsel offered and the cross-border orientation were very similar for both. The merger proved to be an auspicious move that serves our clients’ interests on both sides of the border. They benefit not only from the close collaboration between offices, but also from the always reputable notary office in Basel, which can render services at very favorable conditions. What is more, our Basel office has a “French Desk” with one French attorney. This means that we have the resources to provide counsel across three countries from each of our offices.
