Dr. Oliver Melber

Dr Oliver Melber has been a partner at Caemmerer Lenz since 1991 and has since then focused on corporate law with its many facets – contract drafting, owner and executive consulting, transformation law, company acquisitions and much more. He is the founder of our corporate law team, which he now heads together with Jörg Schröder, also a partner, with whom he shares a flair for strategic thinking. Having always worked in German-Swiss legal relations, Oliver Melber co-founded the supra-local law firm based in Basel in 1997. Together with his colleagues and friends at the Basel office, he has always been particularly keen to anchor the firm in the European network of Eurojuris, where he has established valuable personal contacts over decades. As part of his work in corporate law, he has always dealt with issues of corporate succession and has further specialised in the fields of inheritance tax law, the law of executorship and international inheritance law. Oliver Melber is also a specialist lawyer for inheritance law and a certified executor.
