Dr. Benedikt A. Suter has been a partner at Lenz Caemmerer in Basel since 1999 and acts as an advisor and litigator for companies, entrepreneurs and private individuals, primarily in the areas of commercial law, civil litigation and notarial services. After completing his studies (1987) and doctorate (1992) at the University of Basel and passing his bar exam (1990) and notary exam (1993) in the Canton Basel-Stadt, he worked in a total of four law firms in London and Paris in 1994 and has been working full-time as a lawyer and notary at Lenz Caemmerer since 1995. Dr. Suter also serves on boards of directors, particularly of corporations in the life sciences, real estate and automotive industries, on foundation boards, and as a deputy in complex cases and as an arbitrator. He is co-author of commentaries on the Civil Procedure Code, the Debt Enforcement and Bankruptcy Act and the Therapeutic Products Act.
